Hello, I’m Alys Gilbert, an MA Fine Art with Art History student with a love of¬†surface pattern design in its various guises.

The Uniform Project is a new surface pattern brand it it’s infancy. As a Fine Art student, the work¬†will enjoy an innovative multidisciplinary perspective that draws on research within Art History.

Follow me for the latest developments in my work as well as my various ramblings and musings on the shift towards integration between “Art” and “Craft”.

I’m going to be documenting this journey in the form of a blog; it’ll be great to be part of a wider community!
